Class Schedule (Finally!!) and New Pattern Pics! (updated Saturday evening!)

(Saturday night update!! When I got home tonight, the Wool Crazy Garden, Garden Sampler and Humble Farm patterns were here! So they will be at the shop tomorrow, Sunday! I took a quick look at the Wool Crazy Garden...very easy instructions on how to put this together and not as time consuming as the Wool Crazy book we have...so that's good! I'll let everyone know kit pricing in the next couple of days!)

(Tuesday)It's been hard to get stuff done this afternoon...rainy days make me want to take a nap! But I've got tooooo much to do! Hmmmm....maybe it's time for a vanilla latte!

For those of you that have been wanting to take classes....I have finally got my July-August schedule done (thanks to the help of a friend of mine...Sharon!) I'll post it here...but when the schedule is finally "in print" in a week or so, I'll link you over to the calendar as well, plus you'll be able to pick up a schedule at the shop! But for now....here goes:

Fabric Covered Boxes
This will be a 3 hour class on how to cover boxes in fabric. All supplies will be furnished, along with a fun little wool strawberry kit that you'll be able to take home and make to put on your box! I'll have lots of ideas on what to do with them as well...$25 for the kit and class.

Dates: July 8th, Thursday, 6pm-9pm (held in Raleigh)
August 7th, Saturday, 10am - 1pm (held in Apex)
August 10th, Tuesday, 6pm-9pm (held in Apex)

Beginning Punchneedle
Learn this fun and very easy stitchery technique! We’ll make a simple strawberry picture for our first project…which you can frame or turn into a sweet little pillow or pincushion. If you would like, bring along another project that you would like to start and I will help you get started! 10% off any supplies that you purchase through our shop for the class!! (The fee for the class does not include a punchneedle. I have them for you to use at the class and you may purchase one at a discount during class, if you like.) $25 for the class/kit.

Dates: July 17th, Saturday, 2-5pm (held in Apex)
August 7th, Saturday, 2-5pm (held in Apex)

Beginning Rug Hooking
Come learn to be a hooker! Learn all the basics of rug hooking while completing an 11” x 11” primitive star table mat. No sewing skills required and it is very easy to do! (You will need a “hands free” quilting hoop - one that you don’t have to hold, or rug hooking frame with the carding strips, in order to work on your project outside of class.) I will provide frames during class time and will have them available for purchase (at a discount) if you would like to buy one as well. $55 for class/kit.

Dates: July 17th, Saturday, 10a-1pm (held in Apex)
August 22, Sunday, 2-5pm (held in Apex)
