Well....we almost went without a post this week...but a couple of new things did come through the door today! (That's the bad thing about long holiday weekends...it messes up our delivery schedule with UPS!)
Real quick, before I forget....for those of you who are cross stitchers and fans of Carriage House Samplings...they are now retiring and will no longer be producing cross stitch patterns. Here is a link to one of our distributor's pages for Carriage House Samplings...if you are needing anything before it is no longer available, I'll be placing an order with them on Monday and I'll be glad to add anything on that you want to get. Just let me know!
Also...Judy Condon's new book..."The Comfort of Home" will be shipping next week. I'm not ordering a "ton" of these...and I do have several people already on the list to get one. If you're not sure you're on the list and definitely want the new book...let me know! Price per book is $24.95.
This new Marcus Brothers fabric came in today...that perfect shade of civil war blue! From the Bonnie Blue Basics line...$7.95 per yard (for the WOW girls..10% off)
(I just taught my first covered box class last night...thank you ladies for coming...it was a lot of fun!! And when this fabric came in today...all I could think was...OMG WHAT A GREAT COVERED BOX!!)
Also walking in the door today was the new issue of the Wool Street Journal! Always a treat to look at the inspiring primitive projects and test out the new dye formula! $8.00 per copy.
And last but not least...a new upcoming book alert!!
Due out Mid August will be Maggie Bonanomi's third book..."Comfort Zone"!!
112 Color pages of purely primitive projects...(try saying that 3 times fast!)
She’s created 18 new projects: bed covers, hooked rugs, pillows, tablerunners, whimsical sewing items – even a jacket and toe warmers. As always, many of the projects are inspired by the antiques that Maggie collects.
Regular retail on the book is $26.95. Pre-order price is $24.95 (WOW preorder price is 22.95).
That's it for this week! Come see us if you get the chance! And if anyone wants to jump in on a punchneedle or rug hooking class next weekend...there are still openings in each. Contact me for details! Happy weekend...Lisa
