(Friday, Feb. 20th)

Well....after hacking and chopping and spreading ice melt this afternoon...we
hopefully open at NOON on Saturday.....hopefully!!

With that in mind, please call the shop before you come over to make sure the parking lot is safe! We were hacking through 4" of ice over most of the lot....but by the end of the day, the ice melt was helping things get slushy.

(Before the hacking, chopping and spreading.....and slipping and sliding!)

(Monday, February 16th)

What a messy wintery night here in NC!
It began sleeting about an hour ago and it's suppose to stick around all night.

The shop will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday due to the icy weather!
So if you're lucky enough not to have to go anywhere, stay home and do something fun!!

Attention Jo's Little Women Club Members!!

Due to the weather, we are moving this week's meetings to next week,
Tuesday, Feb. 24th and Wednesday, Feb. 25th

********************

This afternoon, we went over to the shop to make sure everything was in good shape for the bad weather coming and to our surprise, we had 3 boxes of Andover fabric sitting on our back porch!

Jo Morton's newest line, "Hollyhocks" is officially here!
20 great bolts that pairs very well with her Caswell County line!
We'll be cutting fat quarter packs and individual fat quarters on Thursday when we reopen for business.
In the meantime, here is a look at the line...

$10.95 per yard (wow price $9.85)
$2.75 per fat quarter
Complete Fat Quarter pack is $55.00 (wow price $49.50)

Folk Art Album Block of the Month
begins in March!
Sabrina has been working on the first 4 blocks...here's a sneek peek...

This project will be hand-dyed wool on flannel. There are 12 individual blocks and a floral border. We'll be putting up more information a little later about the pricing and how we are going to do the borders.
To see the entire project, look over on the right hand side bar of our blog!
If you would like to make sure you receive information, just contact the shop and we will put you on the list for the pricing details!

In the shop for when we reopen!!

We have received the entire line of Primitive Gathering's solid muslin flannels!
Slightly mottled, they have the look and feel of suede! These colors will be beautiful to stitch and applique on or make great backings for a quilt!
We'll be putting together fat quarter packs once we get the shop back open...

$11.95 per yard (wow price $10.75)
Fat quarters $3.00 each
Complete FQ bundle (25 colors) $75.00 (wow price $67.50)
