Introducing Kim Diehl's What Nots Club!!
Starting in July!!

Kim Diehl’s Simple Whatnots Club at Lone Star Mercantile

What:  A new club for all of the Kim Diehl lovers out there!  Kim has designed 6 projects for us to enjoy!!  Sabrina will be leading this new club, doing one new project per month for the next six months.  Most of the quilts are small and less than 24 inches square.  There is only one large quilt that measures 40 inches by 40 inches.  The largest quilt has applique in the center.  In case you don’t like to do applique, the quilt also has a pieced center option.  Each meeting day will be limited to 12 participants. Meetings will be held in the upstairs classroom.  Simple Whatnots Club will fill on a first come, first serve basis with paid membership, so be sure to sign up early and pay your club membership fee to reserve your spot on your desired meeting day.  We will offer a weekday afternoon club and a weekend afternoon club. (In the event that we have more than 24 participants, we will open up an additional day.)  Kim’s newest line, “Vintage Farmhouse” will be arriving mid to late June at the shop, and club members will get first opportunity to see the new fabrics!

Date:  Begins Tuesday, July 8, or Saturday, July 12.  Club will be held each month on the 2nd Tuesday afternoon or the 2nd Saturday afternoon and will last 6 months.
Time: 3 - 4:30pm

Cost:  $8 per month, which includes pattern, instructions, helpful hints, fun, and fellowship with other Kim Diehl lovers.  Initial fee of $35 to join the club includes a fabric credit card worth $35 of Kim Diehl fabric.  You will receive a 10% discount on you purchase of Kim Diehl fabrics.

Other:  We will have the entire ‘Vintage Farmhouse’ line available in fat eighth or fat quarter packs.  If you would like a kit for the upcoming month’s quilt, you may preorder. Most of these quilts use small amounts of fabric, so you could easily make your quilts from a fat eighth pack and only need to purchase additional fabric for borders and bindings. You are encouraged to use your imagination and change the fabrics around and add older Kim Diehl fabrics.  There are still some limited amounts of older Kim Diehl lines available in the shop.
