In case you didn't know...we have the finely crushed walnut shells for filling
make-do's and pinkeeps! Lighter than sand...but very finely ground to help keep your
needles sharp.
1 pound bag....$2.50
(will do several projects)

(Wednesday evening...)
Couple of great things came in today!
First...we got a great civil war fabric...perfect for fussy-cutting into blocks!
(For those girls doing our Civil War Block of the Month project, this is the fabric used on the front of the book we're using!)
This is actually an old fabric, and to tell you the truth, I'm not sure exactly how we got it...but I'm glad we did and it's already going fast!
Civil War Tribute by Marcus Brothers
$9.50 per yard (WOW price is $8.95)
And...

108" Civil War Backing fabric from
Judy Rothemel's 25th Anniversary line
a perfect backing for any quilt!
$14.95 per yard (WOW price is $13.45)

Doris brought in her model for the pear pincushion class...OMG it is awesome!
Picture coming tomorrow!
Info on the class is over on our class schedule...

If anyone is doing the Quilt Challenge by Judy Rothemel and Marcus Brothers Fabrics,
we now have more of the packs in that has the 8" squares of the entire 25th Anniversay line.
$19.95 per pack...wow price is $17.95

(Thursday morning...)
We've got two more fantastic older civil war fabrics coming in...they should be here in time for the next civil war BOM meeting....a week from this Sat.
Civil War Ladies...
We chose it in the all tan so that it wouldn't clash with any civil war fabric that you put it with. (Would make a great backing as well.)
$9.50 per yard....wow price is  $8.55)
Another great Marcus civil war print...
$9.50 per yard...wow price is $8.55

 (Friday afternoon)

We've added Doris's picture of her upcoming pinkeep class to our class schedule!

Pretty dang cute, don't ya think! If you want to join in on the class..head over to our class
schedule for all the particulars and then give the shop a call and the girls can get you on the list!

A quick note about our hours this Sunday, Feb. 3rd.
We will be closed this Sunday only...heading out of town for a
quick buying trip to PA. We'll be back to our regular hours on Tuesday!

We have a new Sewing Group starting in February...
"Light as a Feather" Sewing Circle
(A bit of a take on the Featherweight Club...but we don't discriminate...any little light-
weight sewing machine is welcome to join in on the fun!
This new group will meet the 3rd Friday of each month
10a - 3pm
(we have a fridge and microwave available if you bring a lunch)
There is a bit of a limit on how many we can fit into our classroom at one time, so
if you're interested in coming...let's get you on the list!
Upcoming dates:
February 15th
March 15th
April 19th
May 17th

That's if for now...come on by for a visit soon!
Lisa
