What a great 1st year birthday celebration we had at the shop!
A big and very grateful "thank you!" to all of our customers that came to help us celebrate the event! I wasn't expecting quite as big of a turn out...especially with our fall open house coming up soon....but everyone had a great time and all of us here at the shop appreciate
the support and enthusiasm from all of you so much!

And speaking of Fall Open House...we are changing the date just a bit. All of a sudden, we realized that was Labor Day weekend, and that Shawn and I had to be in VA on that Friday...so we have moved the date to the next weekend.

Shawn just got finished working on this beautiful circa 1800 New England
two drawer blanket chest...original snipe hinges...hand planed white pine...really nice scrolled feet. The size and height would be great to put a flat screen tv on and have a ton of storage!
Wonderful color combination of old mustard over red paint...$425.00

This last picture....just made me laugh! Have you ever seen such a FAT hummingbird?
It looked like a big fuzzy ball with a beak when it tried to fly off...rather slowly, I might add!
